Our speaker will be James Seneca, Senior Resource Officer for the Aurora Police Department and assigned to the community relations section with over 36 years of law enforcement experience. He is the founder of Cops Fight Cancer, is a cancer survivor himself, and has a daughter with hearing loss.
Mr. Seneca will talk about how Deaf and hard of hearing people can best interact with police officers, how we can avoid scams, and how we can protect ourselves.

May Meeting

Our speaker will be Jack Carlton from Paragon Service Dogs.
Paragon raises and train pups to serve as invaluable
companions to individuals who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing.

Our speaker will be Dr Vinaya Manchaiah.

Dr. Manchaiah serves as the Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and as the Director of Audiology at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCHealth). Dr. Manchaiah will talk about artificial intelligence (AI), how it is being used by audiologists and how hearing aids with AI can improve our hearing.
